1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the Riwaaz online store by consumers and businesses.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. A business customer is a natural or legal person acting in the exercise of their trade, business, or profession.
2. Products
Riwaaz offers Indian ethnic clothing, accessories, and related products. We strive to ensure that all products meet our quality standards before dispatch.
Product images are provided for illustrative purposes only. Minor variations in color, embroidery, fabric texture, embellishments, or design may occur due to screen settings, photography, lighting conditions, and handcrafted manufacturing processes.
Measurements may vary slightly from the stated size charts. Such variations do not constitute defects unless otherwise required by applicable law.
3. Contract Formation
The presentation of products in the online store does not constitute a legally binding offer.
- By placing an order, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the selected products.
- The contract is concluded when Riwaaz confirms the order by email or dispatches the goods.
- Riwaaz reserves the right to refuse orders where legally permitted.
4. Prices and Payment
- All prices are displayed in Euro (€).
- Where applicable, prices include statutory VAT in accordance with German tax regulations.
- Additional shipping costs are displayed separately during checkout before the order is completed.
- Payment may be made using the payment methods offered during checkout.
- The customer shall ensure that sufficient funds are available for the selected payment method.
5. Delivery
- Delivery times are displayed on the respective product pages.
- Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs procedures, transportation delays, public holidays, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
- The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
- If delivery fails due to incorrect address information, additional shipping costs may be charged.
- Risk of loss passes to consumers in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
Consumers residing within the European Union generally have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days.
- Detailed withdrawal information is provided separately in our Withdrawal Policy.
- Returned goods must be sent to the designated return address in Germany.
- Unless otherwise required by law, customers bear the direct cost of returning goods.
- Refunds are processed after inspection of returned products in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Personalized and Custom-Made Products
Products that are customized, altered, embroidered, printed, or manufactured according to customer specifications are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal to the extent permitted by applicable European and German consumer protection laws.
Such products cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective, damaged upon delivery, or incorrectly supplied.
8. Defective or Incorrect Products
Customers should inspect products immediately upon delivery.
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or differs significantly from the ordered item, customers should contact Riwaaz without undue delay and provide supporting photographs where possible.
Where a valid claim exists, Riwaaz will provide a replacement, repair, refund, or another remedy as required by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
Riwaaz shall be liable without limitation for damages resulting from:
- Intentional misconduct
- Gross negligence
- Injury to life, body, or health
- Liability under mandatory statutory provisions
For breaches of essential contractual obligations caused by ordinary negligence, liability shall be limited to foreseeable damages typical for the contract.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
10. Governing Law
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
If the customer is a consumer residing in another country, mandatory consumer protection provisions of that country shall remain unaffected.
The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.
